“You were passed out on the sidewalk.” He looked away again and this time he grabbed my hand when he looked back at me “is there something you’ve been doing that you shouldn’t have doing like have you been eating?” he looked at my stomach. I thought that was such an odd question but then I looked at my stomach and notice what I hadn’t noticed before I was a lot skinnier then I had seemed to be last week.
“Yeah I’ve been eating no I’ve not been drinking or other illegal stuff you should know me by now I wouldn’t do that.”
“I guess you’re right and yes I did have feelings for you and I feel bad for cheating and saying I never cared about you, I guess I’m a really bad liar.”
“And trust me don’t get better please I have enough liars in my life,” I stopped and looked towards the door.“I don’t need more.” I gave him a dead serious look “so when are they going to let me outta here? Do you know?”
“No they told Parker for some reason but refused to tell me.”
“Great. I can’t believe I have to ask him.” Cody looked really confused

“They said you can leave now.” He said it in an abrupt way and then threw some clothes at me. Cody’s face turned from happy to angry as his eyes darted from me to Parker.
“Really you had to throw the clothes on her and you couldn’t just wait till we were done talking now could you!” Cody yelled at Parker or atleast as loud as you could get in a hospital.
“Uh let me think about that. Yes I did now Deanna go get changed or we’ll be charged for another night and I don’t think your insurance will cover that. Trust me not when you don’t need it anymore and they cost a load.” Cody’s face was turning red from anger
“No just admit it you don’t care about the cost you just didn’t like the fact that what you heard snooping around the door was me and her getting along, or the fact that if we had, had just a few minutes more wed probably be going back out again.” Parker gave a chuckle at the way Cody was furious at him then he just waved it away and shrugged.
“Ha why would I care about that if you want her you can have her?” Cody had the last straw and to show how cunning and charming he was just to show off he kissed me but that only got him a huge smack across the face by me.

I asked almost laughing and crying I felt bad for making him feel like this but there was really no reason for him to be almost crying.

Your kind had killed my parents I’ve hunted them or things like you since.” He looked disgusted like he wanted to punch me and Parker both before he threw down his chair and ran out I felt like I was going to cry why did I have to tell him why couldn’t I have listened to Parker and not told him. I ran out to Parkers car slammed the door buckled my seat belt and waited for Parker who looked like he was going to say I told you so
“don’t you dare” I about shouted before he could say anything he put his hands up in mock surrender and I started to cry he was my closest friends now he hated me I’ve lost too many friends because of what I am. I’m not losing anymore. “I’m on your side now.” I said “I don’t care anymore what’s fighting a battle you don’t want to fight worth especially if it means fighting friends.” I’m sure I looked pure crazed I didn’t care but the look from him made me stop and think about what I was saying.
