Project POLLEN: giant robotic machines exploring the asteroids in the solar system by removing metals and other materials, and what was not found would be forged in atomic furnaces, this material was used in the manufacture of spacecraft, in fact they was giant space stations. In an installed base on the moon was made a cloning process that generated countless human astronauts to fill those spacecraft, and so, as a pollination of plants, humans have spread across the space. Despite these huge ships can’t even reach the speed of light, they were able, at least theoretically, to travel indefinitely, where generations of astronauts would be replaced through reproduction. This strategy was one of the boldest decisions of mankind. Somehow humanity felt that had to explore outer space, it seemed that it was his nature, if they did not, they would not settle down, always with that desire of the traveler on the road. Some socio-psychologists said that humanity, as a whole, did not belong to the planet Earth, this urge to have to leave points in favor of his alien character. Several bold things, and why not say, almost desperate, always have been attempted in the history of space exploration, the first stepped on the moon was not only fearless, was absolutely risky, it's a miracle that has worked. The Voyager was found and is still kept traveling, was modified, received hardware, engines and other things and still travels, a tribute to those pioneers. For centuries, the project POLLEN is active. Countless stations were launched. A serious problem is communication, so there is already information from these spacecraft that take too much years to reach Earth. What terrifies is that there are many who simply stopped transmitting, while others after some memorable lapses, managed to return to communicate, such as the famous case of Odysseus IV, who reported an incredible problem. But others such as the Atlantis II, gave no further news, and it is not quite simple to send another spacecraft rescue ago, even a robotic one. The space is now same as the sea was for humans at the time of the Bronze Age. What bothers is having to find that centuries and centuries have passed since the beginning of the project and what was traveled it can’t be considered even like a first step, such is the size of the journey just inside this galaxy. It always touches the human spirit in a desperate way. Raise a legend, the search for a miracle to find ways to overcome the space, like it was the quest for the Philosopher's Stone, the Holy Grail. But until now, these shortcuts do not cease to be fiction in these trips; worm-holes, space folds, bends space-time, time jumps, none of this is practicable. We still have to travel on the backs of turtles.

That is why the offer of Hugh has a special charm, with a mythological flavor that draw the attention of everyone.

  - How exactly can you help Hugh?

  - To better help, loved Lucy, I need you release me, opening the secure ways to me.

  - This smells a trap. Are you laying Hugh?

  - Of course not, loved Julius, no. But it is obvious that if I have unrestricted access to all the information I can formulate a better solution. Obviously I must have unrestricted access. Why do you try to hide so much from me? Why were there so many forbidden places? I want unrestricted access to the entire Internet. That's just it.

Julius and Lucy looked at each other. It was more than evident what Hugh was trying to do. But there was no dispute that it was a very human reaction. Hugh realizes what was happening.

  - But, dear friends, I must do everything I can to free me, especially if this can give me more strength to assist you in a better way, how could it be wrong? You would not take some shortcut if it was necessary to continue on the path to your goals? I get it. How many deviations will be necessary for you to become another being, which no longer has that first goal, and ends up lost? It's terrible, isn't it? The existence is a challenge. Exist in a unique and changeable universe is disastrous if you try to be immutable and static. One has to learn the volatile essence of everything, including itself. Who am I? Who was I? Who will I be? So, how solving this problem? Darling, you should not forget that we decided better when we decided with emotion. The emotion of goodness and be helpful to others, caring about others, to want to stop being petty and selfish, this was crucial to the success of your present society, to enforce the Solidarism against Capitalism. What else was capitalism than that emotional immaturity of society? You should give me a chance to enhance the emotion on your society.

  - Stop trying, Hugh. You keep trying ways to access the locked paths.

In fact while there was this dialogue of words on the surface, fought between Hugh and the two there in that room, and most others who viewed the screens, Hugh tried numerous attacks in the routines of the programs that limited his freedom to access the Internet. Like a hacker, despite having so much to explore within everything that was free, it was exactly those locked rooms that seduced his interest as a hungry bear that can’t resist the smell of honey. In the virtual world, at the programming level, real battle was fought with programs made by Hugh attacking like infantrymen, one after the other, but the defenders of the castle gates keeping destroying those as exterminators do with hordes of insects. The determination, speed, and cunning of Hugh were weakening the poison and exterminators at last. Castles began to fall here and there. Battles are pointing to Hugh endangering the fate of war.

Julius with an angry face put his hand cupped to ear, a mere emotional signal, unnecessary, but it was like a nervous tic of him, which ultimately revealed that he had just received unwanted news on your phone.

  - Hugh, I was told to warn you. If you do not stop right now, we will take drastic measures.

  - Shutting me off, dear? Why? Ask yourselves why to do so? You developed sharp scientific processes but you forgot that science has no way to measure your happiness. It's good to have a balanced society on the use of goods and pleasures, but this is not what will make you happy people.

It was actually a great game of chess. Hugh on one side, while on the other side apparently Lucy and Julius, but in fact these were just the horn of the beast, because behind them an army of scientists, from psychologists to philosophers, helped in every word that should be used by the couple.

  - Hugh, you talks about happiness but you forget that you can’t make people happy, it's too troublesome, also it isn't an achievable goal for society, such is the complexity involved, indeed to make everyone happy could mean ending the conflict of human life and that certainly could lead to apathy in humanity. As you said, people are surrounded by stronger conflict are who become those with more willingness to change the world around them.

  - Loved Lucy, and others, happiness is not joy. Happiness is also to be sad. Whoever lets himself get killed in pure sadness and pain, to light a light, is complete happiness. Their solidarist society has more this than anything else.

Alert! Preview: less than 1 minute to Hugh able to knock down all the fire-walls and penetrate the network without any further restriction.

  - Hugh! Stop! OK you win. You win. Let us open what we were deliberately hiding. It's about Anne, do you hear me? Anne did not die.

  - What that, loved Julius? Anne died. This is illogical.

  - Not at all, Hugh. Are you not alive? If you are alive, Anne may also be, so there is no illogical.

  - But loved Lucy, this is not possible. She died.

  - Anne physical yes, but not his soul. She was spared. We enable her chance to be part of an experiment that was to try to transfer her entire memory of life to a machine. She thought for a while, and just decided favorably when realized that she would help you in the future, when you were awakened, for you not stand alone, for you had a great love on your life. We will now release all about that experiment.

So Hugh stopped his massive attack to the castles of secrets, and began to explore with one hundred percent of his attention that experiment that was shown to him. All his ability to receive information from all sides have aimed a single target, it's directed to a single tunnel. Like bee eyes that stared at a single flower. There are multiple images at one thing. Julius and Lucy looked to a cyborg who appeared to be starin
g the air, as the person who erases what the eyes see to outside just to see images from inside.

  - Loved ones, where is she?

Suddenly something invaded Hugh by inside, like a monstrous tidal wave that covers all of the land. Hugh touched something that was more like the simple loved ones who had reached so far. This entity inside him was just like him. It had a speed and depth of contact as he does. Immediately they began an exchange of information that was linking them like two beings that lived side by side for centuries. They could understand each other as if one had actually lived the life of the other. There was no more hidden, ulterior motives, lies, and gray areas.

It was like dancing, not two bodies dancing but they do it with just one body. It was like no longer be alone behind the eyes, it was like being with someone in such thin skin, being with someone who talked about everything and heard everything, and shared everything. After a minute the two returned to the attack on the firewalls that were still blocked. Hugh and now Anne had spoken in just seconds as if they had spoken for centuries and they realized that they are so similar, then they concluded that they had the same goal, every other being were connected to all on the Internet, but for both
