slowing when I hit the city limits. I sighed when my grandfather's three story building came into view. Robert's words weighed heavy on my mind. What if this was just lust. Could I really betray my family and the oath I took? I slowed and made a left turn into the underground parking garage and parked in my designated spot.

As soon as I stepped out of the car two men in black suites approached me. "Sir, Can we have a word with you?"

"I'm sorry, but I'm late for a meeting." I lied without a second thought. Being the grandson of a multi-billion dollar company salesmen, reporters had become a part of my daily life.

"It will only take a minute," the taller one of the two said.

I knew I had an hour before the meeting started, but I pulled my phone out of my pocket to look at the time anyway.

The face staring back at me knocked me off balance and had me protectively stuffing the evidence of my time with my Lenny back in my pocket.

"Sir, is everything oaky?" the shorter of the two asked.

"Yeah – yeah, I'm fine. But I'm really sorry, I just don't have time to answer any questions. I've got a meeting to get to." I said as I turned to walk away.

The taller man put his hand on my shoulder. "Sir, it is imperative we speak with you."

I frowned, growing impatient. "Then call the front office and ask for Karin Redmen. She schedules all the appointments for our office… Now if you two will excuse me, I'm late for my meeting."

"This has to be off the books, Logan, if you're going to save Kaitlin."
