Page 2 of Her Ride

“Yeah, where’d you go? You could’ve at least gone and gotten me a drink, but instead you just vanished into thin air as soon as we walked in. You led me into a den filled with wolves only to leave me to fight my way through everyone alone.”

“You were hardly alone. And there wasn’t a single wolf in that room.” Ellis let out a low laugh as I sighed dramatically and threw myself back on the bed again. "I did miss your pain in the ass attitude.”

“Whatever. You missed someone that wouldn’t take your shit.” I used any excuse to tease Ellis because he was just too easy to rile up. I toed off my boots and let them plop to the ground before rolling on my side and looking at him as I stuffed a pillow under my head. “Speaking of pain in the ass, go away. I’m tired.”

“Yes, your highness. Anything else I can get you?” Ellis chuckled as I threw a spare pillow in his direction, but he left, closing the door behind him.

In less than a minute, I had fallen into a deep sleep. I didn’t even hear my phone ringing from my backpack near the door where Ellis must’ve placed it for me.

The next morning, I was roused by light streaming between the curtains, right into my eyes. Rolling over to escape the rude awakening, it took me a while to remember where I was. I climbed from the bed feeling much older than I was, my body sore from all the traveling and lugging of luggage I’d done the day before. Spotting my bag near the door, I smiled as I moved to retrieve it. A big yawn escaped as I set the bag on my bed to dig through for the spare clothing I had stuffed there. Once I found them, I headed to get a nice hot shower in my attached bathroom.

The shower made me feel like an entirely new person. I wrapped my towel around my hair as I slipped into a pair of sweat shorts, sports bra, and white tank top. Leaving the towel on the counter, I ran my fingers through my hair trying to tame it then went in search of a cup of coffee and food. As I walked down the hall, I could feel the grit of dirt under my bare feet which made me grind my teeth together. Obviously these boys were going to need a refresher of how the house was going to be kept while I was there. Call me a bitch, demanding, whatever… I didn’t care. I couldn’t stand the feeling of a dirty floor and I liked being barefoot, especially first thing in the morning.

In the kitchen, I found a heavenly full pot of freshly brewed, steaming coffee. Letting out a low moan, I pulled a mug from the cabinet and filled it with the delicious nectar of life. When a low chuckle broke the silence, I turned to see who dared to interrupt my sweet love affair. When I spotted Ellis, I rolled my eyes. “Ugh, what do you want? I was about to have an orgasm here. Well, until you interrupted us.”

“Just from a cup of coffee? Girl, the men in your life haven’t been treating you right. Or maybe it’s just been that long." Ellis said as he slowly stalked his way towards me. As he drew near, I pressed my back against the counter, refusing to give my ground. Ducking his head, his nose softly dragged up the side of my neck, “That is such a shame. A woman like you should experience great sex as often as she wants it.”

“Like you would know what a real woman needs.” I laughed softly as I reached my hand back to set my mug on the counter so I didn’t spill the hot liquid on either of us.

“Ryan, I guarantee I could show you things you’ve never even dreamed of.” Ellis purred in my ear, pressing lightly into me with his hard body. I leaned up on my toes to encourage him to tease my neck with his nose again, allowing him to think I was falling into his trap.

“Ellis…” I let his name drag out before continuing, “I would eat you up and leave you crying when I was done. I'm not the little girl who used to chase after you with stars in her eyes.” I leaned back and met his gaze straight on. My palm slid down his chest to grip the large bulge in his jeans. “I've had bigger and better and left them wanting. While you may have slept with more people than me, I’m much better in bed than you.”

“You sound so sure of yourself. There is only one way to find out for sure.” Ellis’ large hands cupped my ass lifting me onto the counter so he could slide between my thighs.

“RYAN!” A loud distant male voice broke into our battle of wills. I smirked at Ellis when he jumped two feet back from me. Slipping off the counter, I shook my head at him.

“I highly doubt you’ll ever get that chance.” I laughed and walked towards where I thought the voice was coming from. Sure enough, Patrick was walking towards me with his hand held out. When I got close enough I saw that he had my phone in his hand. I lifted it from his palm and nodded in appreciation as it started to ring.

“Damn thing hasn’t stopped ringing so I finally went to find it.” Patrick groaned before heading towards the kitchen in just his sleep shorts. I swiped my finger across the screen and put it up to my ear as I walked down the hall to exit into the back yard.

  “Hello.”

“God damn it! Where the fuck have you been?” The distinctively male voice boomed through the phone as I pulled it away from my ear. I tucked my feet under me as I sat on one of the many chairs on the covered patio.

“Jeremiah…” Before I could even say anything else, he cut me off again.

“Don’t Jeremiah, me! Do you realize that I have been trying to call you nonstop since you were supposed to arrive at the airport yesterday? I didn’t sleep all night worrying that something happened to you! Here, I let my girlfriend return home to her brother and the band of hooligans that he runs with; only to have her disappear on me for over twelve hours.” Jeremiah, my boyfriend of two years, continued to yell at me.

“J, I’m sorry. I was just bombarded when I got here by a surprise welcome home party. By the time I made it to my room, I fell asleep. I just got up and showered off the jet lag before grabbing a cup of coffee to wake me up when Patrick brought me my phone. I didn't even know where my bag was in all the shuffling around last night.” I fibbed a bit. I didn’t want to say that I hadn’t thought of him once since arriving home. Things between us were falling apart and while I was hoping the distance would help fix things or help him see the way he was treating me, it didn’t appear to be working. No surprise. Hard to control me with a sea between us.

“Baby, I just care so much for you. I’ll feel much better once you get your own place. It’ll help keep you away from those scumbags." Jeremiah just couldn’t take the hint that I didn’t want to discuss it with him, but he rarely cared about what I wanted so it would’ve actually been astonishing if he had.

“J…” I started just as Ellis brought out my mug of coffee. I nodded in thanks and took a sip as I tried to find the words to express that I didn’t give a fuck what he wanted without quite saying it like that. “I just got here. Can you at least let up on it for now? Give me time to get settled a bit, please.”

“Let up on what? That I don’t want you staying with a house full of men that could turn you against me? That could easily rape you? They are a motorcycle gang, you do know that right? They are known for that type stuff.” Jeremiah continued to just say all the wrong things. I sighed loudly and stood from my chair.

“I’m not doing this right now. I have to talk to my brother about everything first. Finding my own place isn’t on the top of my list. Trust me; I can take care of myself if one of these fools wants to do something stupid.” Looking over my shoulder, I smirked at Ellis’ curious look. “J, stop blowing up my phone. You know I'm here safe. I’ll call you tonight when I get some free time. I have to get going.”

“Babe, I’m sorry. My mind just went wild when I couldn’t get ahold of you for so long. I was so worried and there is no way I could get there to check on you if something had happened. Please forgive me. I know Patrick would never let something happen to you and I trust you to make wise choices.” Jeremiah’s voice softened and I could almost feel it caress my cheek. We’d had so many good times but he could be so overbearing, hence the need for some distance. “I love you, Shannon.”

“Mmm. You too.” I smiled softly and hit the end button before turning around to face Ellis.

p; “Who was that?” Ellis tilted his head. He looked curious and maybe a little angry.

“That would be my boyfriend. Don’t act like you didn’t know about him.” I frowned at his surprised look.

“I thought you broke up with the dickwad.” He tilted his shoulder in a shrug. “He doesn’t deserve you.”

“What and you do?” I scoffed at him and headed inside. My back met the wall as I passed through the door and Ellis was in my face in the blink of an eye. His calloused fingers wrapped around my arms. I tried to ignore the fire that ignited inside me with the simple display of his strength. I didn’t want to get turned on, I wanted to be pissed. My body seemed to be operating on its own though.

“I don’t know what I have to do to make you realize that I am here and I’m willing to do anything to have you. I think I've made it pretty obvious since you came back that I want you.” Ellis lowered his face till our lips nearly met. “I don’t know what you are waiting for. I know you want me, I can see it in your eyes, feel it in the way your body softens when I touch you. I’d bet my left nut that your panties are soaked right now with the thoughts of my hard dick pushing into your tight pussy.”

“You are so fucking crude. I don’t want you. You had your chance for years and turned me away every single time. Now that I have a man, you want me. Well, too bad Ellis, I don’t cheat. Never have. Never will. So give up and go find some other tail to chase.” I lifted my chin to show I wasn’t going to back down. Sure, I still thought he was probably the best looking man I’d ever laid my eyes on from the short cropped dark brown hair to the dark green eyes to the ripped muscular body, but sometimes, more than looks had to count. I’d seen Ellis break too many hearts to count, mine included. I didn’t want to go down that old, over grown path again.

“We’ll see. We will see.” His soft plump lips barely grazed my lips before he pushed off the wall, stomping inside. I bent to pick up my mug from where I'd dropped it when he’d spun me to the wall. Thankfully, it hadn’t broken, but he might have shaken something loose inside me from that little confrontation.

Instead of going inside and possibly having to run into Ellis after that awkward encounter, I sat on the patio looking out over the landscaped yard; it wasn’t anything fancy, just a couple fire pits, some grass, lots of rock, lots of chairs, and ashtrays. Bikers liked to smoke, a lot. Thankfully it was not something I ever got into, not that it would matter now. At 25 years old, I already had enough vices to keep me busy. My favorite? Booze. Well, that and sex. But I wouldn't be getting either of those while at my brother’s house unless I snuck around. I’d have to wait till night and find one of the guys I knew from the old days to see if I could convince one of them to take me to a bar to find someone to 'scratch the itch’ as they call it. Then get smashed or vice versa, didn’t really matter which happened first.

What? I said I don’t cheat, I don’t. I fuck. A girl has needs and when your man is halfway around the world, you do what you gotta do. I guarantee Jeremiah would have his mouth full of some skank’s pussy as soon as he got the chance to. That’s just how it worked for us. It was the only way we had stayed together for as long as we had. Since we were both deployed in different units, sometimes we’d be sent out for days, weeks or months at a time with no chance to see each other. For the most part though we were at the same home base in Europe. It was those times apart when we learned that it worked best for our relationship to enjoy a random, quick fuck just to help, you know, keep our minds cleared of sexual tension so we’d be able to focus on our tasks and get back safely. Or that’s what Jeremiah said. I just did my thing and didn't mention it to him. He’d flip out if he knew because everything was a double standard in our relationship.

Hearing murmured voices coming from the side of the house, I returned inside. I left my cup on the kitchen counter knowing no one else would be doing dishes since they all knew I was back, the whole lazy lot. However, they would be cleaning the floors, that wasn’t an option, especially if I was going to be doing their dishes. I went on a mission to find my brother. I knew he was up since he’d brought me my phone; he never went back to bed once he was up. Over the years, he’d told me it was just easier to start his day whenever he got woken up early because by the time he got comfortable and fell back asleep, it’d be time to get up anyway.

As I made my way to his office, I passed a few semi familiar faces in the hall that I gave nods to. Knocking once, I opened the door to the office. I didn’t expect the sight that greeted me on the other side. There was a busty blonde bent over my brother’s desk while he pounded into her from behind. The sound of his thighs slapping her ass filled the air along with the scent of sex.

“Really? It’s like ten in the morning.” I sneered at the pair. Gesturing to the bottle blonde with fake round tits that were bouncing everywhere, I looked at Patrick. "You almost done there? I have shit to talk to you about and I can’t think with those things flying everywhere.”

“Give me ten minutes.” Patrick grunted, never slowing his thrusts. The blonde started moaning loudly sounding much like a cat in heat.

I made a face and quickly exited the room. Only because he was my brother, I shut the door quietly behind me even though I really wanted to slam it. Returning to my room, I supposed it was as good a time as any to find my suitcase that I hadn’t seen since leaving the airport. A quick glance around the room told me it wasn’t there. Where the hell had what’s his name put it? Hammer, that had been his name. Sighing, I hoped he was in the game room or living room. That was where most the guys spent time when at the club house when they weren’t digging through the kitchen. Upon entering the living room, I was met with the loud crack of acrylic balls slapping together before dull thuds from them hitting the rails of the pool table we had in the game room. There was a loud cheer that followed, bringing a genuine smile to my face. Another thing I had missed, the sound of a good time no matter what time of the day it was. As I stepped through the open doorway, I found ten guys in loose jeans, t-shirts and leather cuts on their backs signifying they were all part of Tormented Souls Motorcycle Gang, all of the guys were gathered around the pool table.

“Yeah, nice break.” One voice stood out from the others. I stepped around the outskirts of the crowd to see Monk. He was one of the shorter guys in the group; around the same height as me. He had dirty blonde hair that grazed his shoulders and I knew as soon as he turned around, I’d get to meet those bright blue eyes of his. For now, I sat down on one of the chairs and simply watched all the guys betting over who would win the match. I didn’t recognize either of the guys actually playing the game, but it was still amusing to watch.

“Well, well, where did you come from?”

“Now that is a sight for sore eyes.” Monk said, pulling me into a tight embrace as the man who had first spotted me, Brew, moved closer as well. “We just got in. Sorry we missed the big party last night.”

“No worries; I escaped the party as soon as I could anyway. Who knew all you big stinky men could be so damn chatty?” I winked at him before getting a tight hug from Brew as well. “You can make it up to me by taking me out tonight. Show me the local joint that has ice cold beer with an easy lay to pick up.”

“Easy lay? I know there is someone around here that would help you out with that.” Brew wiggled his eyebrows at me. I rolled my eyes.

“Whatever. I want nothing to do with that. Two years ago, sure. Now, it’s more of a headache than anything. Now I have J full time and quick, easy men that disappear when the fun is over. That’s all I need. I don’t care what Ellis says, he just wants me because he knows I’m off the market. As soon as he tapped it, he’d be gone. That’s how he's always been.” I sat back down on my chair and glanced between the two men that looked very similar. Brew was the dark version of Monk; dark hair, dark eyes. “So, will you take me out tonight or do I have to find someone else to take me?”

“Why don’t you drive yourself? You still have that sweet bike in the garage. I know W
rench has been keeping it up for you.” Monk asked. It was the first time I'd heard Patrick’s road name since the party last night where I’d been too overwhelmed to even think about it. Most called him Wrench, but I had fallen out of the habit since I’d been away for so long. Plus, he’d been Patrick to me for far longer than he’d been Wrench to anyone.

“Because I am going to get plastered. I’m not driving drunk. One of you is going to be my designated driver. Now that you mention it though, I do think I need to take my sweet girl out for a stretch today before we get our party on.” I smiled as I thought of my bike.

“You know we will take you. What time?” Brew responded as I stood up again.

“Ten? Hey, find Hammer and have him put my suitcase back in my room. I haven’t seen it since he took it from me at the airport.” I slapped Monks leg before I started walking backwards out of the room. “I’ll see you two later.”

Turning at the door, I jogged up the stairs. In my room, I changed back into my jeans from the night before, pulling on my boots before heading down to the garage. When the garage door swung open and my hair flew into my face I realized I had forgot my hair tie in the bedroom. Damn it. Oh well. Hitting the garage open button on the wall, I slipped on my sunglasses as I walked over to the beautiful shiny black Harley sitting in the far corner. Her name was Belle and she was my pride and joy. Her keys were in the ignition, all ready for me to take her out for a spin. I ran my hand over her tank, then threw my leg over the seat. Just feeling the pressure on my inner thighs as they squeezed against her had me getting turned on. Sure, it was just a bike, but it was so much more than that to me. I started to wheel her out of the garage slowly when the door opened into the house.

“Taking her out for a spin?” Ellis asked with a grin as he stepped out from the house.

  “Yep.”

“Want company?” Ellis put his hands on his hips as he waited for my answer. I shook my head.
