“Nope.”
“Where is your helmet?” Ellis gave me a disapproving look. He always wore a helmet. I, on the other hand, didn’t. I didn't plan on going far anyway. My brother would be expecting me and I needed to talk to him, but this couldn’t wait.
“I’ll be back before you know it.” I didn’t wait for him to respond. Pressing the start switch, I felt the sweet vibration of the engine flaring to life between my thighs. I flashed Ellis a large grin before roaring off down the road, hair whipping in the wind. It’d be a mess later, but I didn’t care.
As I glided Belle into the garage, parking her where she had been earlier, I saw Patrick walk into the garage. The door slammed behind him as he crossed his arms over his chest. Great, what’d I do now? I rolled my eyes and climbed off my bike, pulling the keys from the ignition. Since I was home, no one was taking her out without my permission.
“What?” Crossing my arms over my chest, I mimicked his posture and pursed my lips. He didn’t scare me, but I could tell he was trying to.
“Where the fuck did you go? I’ve been sitting in my office waiting for you. You know, since you barged into my office saying you needed to talk.”
“First, let’s get this straight. I don’t answer to you. I go where I want, when I want and you get no say in that. Ever. Second, I did want to talk with you. That is until you told me you needed ten more minutes to fuck the whore you had bent over your desk. Since I didn’t come before her, I figured you didn’t need to come before a ride.” I scowled at him and his attitude. He took three ground eating steps towards me until he towered over me. I looked up, right into his eyes with my arms still crossed. His hands were now balled at his sides.
“I don’t wait for anyone. Let alone you, Ryan. You’d do best to remember that.”
“Or what? You’ll smack me around and kick me out of your club? You wouldn’t dare raise a hand to me. You might be a big bad ass that scares the guys around here but I know you'd never touch me. Lose the attitude. I refuse to wait around while you fuck whores. When you are ready to get your attitude in check, come find me and we’ll talk like brother and sister. Until then, fuck off.” I brushed past him and stormed into the house. I hadn’t been home for two days and already all of our past issues were starting to surface. Patrick and I got along until he tried to control me the way he did all his minions. That shit never flew with me and we always butted heads over it. It was part of the reason I left for the military.
Once inside, I returned to my room to find my heavy suitcase laying on my bed. I glanced at the clock; I still had a few hours before I had to start getting ready for my night out. After throwing my hair into a messy ponytail, I changed into a sports bra, tank top and yoga capri pants. Stomping my feet into a pair of sneakers, I headed downstairs to the gym in the basement with my headphones in. I passed Patrick, who gave me a face and I gave him my middle finger. He'd ruined the good mood I got from riding my bike, jerk.
Cranking up the music streaming through my headphones, I jumped on the treadmill that looked like it hadn’t seen much use since I had last been home. Pounding out my anger at my brother, and life in general, on the speeding band of the treadmill, I lost track of how long I had been on it until a hand reached over and hit the off button. I used to love running, but it was getting harder for me to keep up with the pace I was used to. Getting old sucked. Angry at not being able to push myself the way I once could, I snapped my head to the side to see who was brave enough to interrupt me.
“What the fuck do you want?” I seethed at Ellis, who gave me one of his stupid heart stopping smiles.
“Look at you. I think you’ve had enough running for one day.” Ellis nodded towards the mirrored wall. I glanced and noticed that not only was my shirt covered in sweat but my pants were as well.
“So? I was thinking through some things… Working through others. Why did you bother me?” I lifted an eye brow as my hands cupped my hips.
“Are you on your period? You always get moody when you are.” Ellis tucked his hands into his loose black jeans. My mouth puckered tight at his words.
“Leave me alone, Ellis. My female parts are of no concern to you.” I started to brush past him then paused realizing it wasn’t totally his fault I was upset. “Look, I’m just fucked up in the head right now. I have a lot of pressure coming at me from all sides. I can’t handle whatever it is that you are throwing at me. Just be a friend; that’s what I need the most right now. That’s what you were when I left.”
“Talk to me then. I want to be here for you but you’ve been so up and down and all over the place since you got home I don’t think any of us know what to do with you." Ellis sat down on one of the many benches in the room and patted next to him. I moved closer but leaned against the weights racked against the wall instead. “What’s going on? What has you so stressed?"
“Life.” I laughed softly as I wiped sweat from my forehead. “You know, I’ve spent so much time in the military and now, I’m done. Well, I will be in three months when all my leave is burned up. Then I have to decide what I want to do. This was my life before. Then I built this entirely different life while I was gone. To be honest, I wanted it that way. I needed that disconnect when I left. It was time for me to find myself, but I didn't. Hell, I don’t know that I’m any closer to knowing what I want to do with my life, only now I’m just years older, you know?”
“Yeah, I get you. Life hasn’t changed at all here, not really. This is our way of life. Easy women, easy money, easy life. That’s all we know." Ellis shrugged. While I didn’t know where the money came from to support the club, I had a feeling it came from supplying women to meet specific needs for men willing to pay a pretty penny. I knew it wasn't drugs; at least it hadn’t been before I left. Before I had joined the military, I had no responsibilities, I could come and go, do whatever I pleased. Patrick even supplied me with money whenever I needed it. I just didn’t know if I wanted to go back to that. Sure it was easy, but sometimes easy is a bad thing. It leads to a whole different set of problems. Before, I was young and dumb. After being in the military and growing up mentally, I would have a few questions that would need to be answered if I stuck around. "Where would you go if you left?” Ellis interrupted my thoughts.
Before I could respond, the door to the gym swung open and a couple guys walked in to workout. I nodded to them then turned to Ellis, “Hey, Dirty, we’ll talk again later.”
“Sure.” Ellis smiled at hearing me call him his road name. It was the name most of the men around here knew him as, but just like Patrick, I’d known him as Ellis for a while before I knew that he had a road name. To this day, he would never tell me how he’d come to have the name, although I could make my guesses and all of them had to do with sex.
Figuring I had killed enough time, I started to prepare for my night out with the guys. After laying out a pair of tight jeans and a white bustier top to wear, I showered and blow dried my hair in just a towel. Slipping on a pair of lacy black thong panties, I stared at the bustier debating on how I was going to get it on. It laced up the back with a black ribbon. I’d worn it numerous times while out partying overseas, but I usually had a girlfriend or roommate around to help lace it up. I was just pulling on the top when a knock came at the door, turning around just in time to see the door swing open.
“Really, Ellis? Just barge into a gal’s room, why don’t cha?” I shook my head at him. At least I was covered. I held one hand against my breasts, holding the top up and the other on my hip, showing that I wasn’t exactly happy about the intrusion. Then I realized that I could actually use a second set of hands. “Hey, since you so rudely came in, you owe me a favor.”
His eyes slowly slipped over me from head to toe as he softly shut the door. He dragged his tongue over his lips while his eyes focused on my lace covered pussy. “What exactly is this favor?”
“This.” I turned on my toe to show him my back as I gestured towards the very loosely criss crossed ribbon down the ce
nter of the back. “I can't reach it to tighten them.”
“Oh, okay. And how do I do this?” Ellis asked as I felt the heat of his body move close behind me. I pulled all of my hair over one shoulder so it was out of the way. I turned my head to look at him over my shoulder and smiled. I couldn’t help it. It was kind of cute that he didn’t know how to tighten them even though it seemed pretty self-explanatory to me.
“Pull on them to tighten them up, just like you would a pair of boots. I want it as tight as you can get it so it won’t fall off.” When I felt his fingers softly glide down my spine starting at the base of my neck, I closed my eyes and tried not to think about how good it felt. Once he grazed the top of my thong, his finger returned to the top of the corset then gently started tugging on the ribbons. Moving down to the second crossing of the ribbons, he tugged and my body came back into his hard body.
“Is that how you want it done?” He asked letting his lips barely brush my ear as he spoke. His fingers moved down to the next ribbon crossing and he tugged again, once again bringing my body into contact with his. “Or do you want it harder? Tighter?”
I licked my suddenly dry lips as I looked over my shoulder again. I met his eyes while biting my lip. The word slipped out before I could stop it. “Harder.”
A fire blazed in his eyes as he pulled on the next ribbon, hard. My foot slipped from the roughness, reaching back to brace myself against his hips, he stepped back from me.
“Go to the bed.” Ellis demanded. I started to turn around confused, but he put a firm hand on the center of my back to show me where he wanted me. He bent me at the waist so my breasts were pushed into the bed, my feet on the floor, hips flush against of the mattress. Placing his booted feet between my spread legs, he leaned over my back. I could feel his hard erection pressing along the line of my ass. “This way you won’t fall while I give it to you hard.”
I was too shocked to respond as one of his hands pressed firmly down between my shoulders and the other tugged hard and rough at the laces of my top. I almost moaned when he spread his feet wider, causing me to spread my thighs wider to accommodate him. With each hard tug on the ribbons, my body was lifted off the mattress and shifted along the hard shaft of his erection. While he wasn’t making any noise, I had to fight to keep myself from moaning at the unexpected surge of need flowing through my body. His large hand holding me down to the bed at the same time that his other hand was pulling me off the bed was extremely erotic even though we were both fully clothed.
“Is that how tight you want it?” Ellis breathed into my ear as he neared the bottom. I couldn’t form words but managed to simply nod my head twice before he resumed tightening the ribbons. Just as I was sure I was going to come just from the rubbing of his cock along my ass and his hands on my body, he stepped back from the bed. I was breathing hard, fisting my hands in the comforter under me; I tried to get myself back under control. “I don’t think it'll get much tighter than that. Now finish getting dressed; it’s time to go.” Ellis grumbled, exiting the room. I continued to lie on the bed once again surprised by his actions. And my own. I hadn’t been that turned on in such a long time and he had been putting me in clothing, not taking me out of it.
Standing up, I realized just how tight Ellis had made the bustier top. It wasn’t so tight that I couldn’t breathe, but it was close. The girls looked wonderful too. Not that they needed much help. I had full D cups thanks to genetics. Sure¸ some girls wanted big breasts, not me. I just learned to deal with them and make them work for me. I would be getting free drinks all night because of this top, I knew it. Shameless? Sure, but I didn’t ask them to pay for them, they offered and I accepted.
I pulled on my favorite tight black pants that made my ass look nice before grabbing red five inch heels and exited my room. Noting that the fucking floor was still disgusting, I remembered that I still needed to get my pigheaded brother to calm down so we could talk about everything, especially this grimy floor shit. Once I got to the bottom of the stairs, I slipped on my heels one at a time. They were my favorite pair of heels. Peeking into the living room, I saw Monk and Brew lounging on the couch shooting the shit with a few of the other guys.
“You boys ready to show a girl a good night on the town?” I interrupted, putting my hands on my hips.
“Absolutely.” Monk jumped up from the couch. My phone started ringing and I sighed, holding up a finger to them.
“Give me a few minutes. I gotta take this.” I knew who it was so I walked out the front door for some privacy. “Hello."
“How are you?” Jeremiah’s voice floated through the phone. I could hear people talking and what sounded like an espresso machine in the background.
“I’m good. Going out for dinner with a couple of the guys I know from back in the day.” I tried to hold back a sigh knowing even the lie wasn't going to fly but if I’d told him we were going to a bar, he’d really flip his shit.
“What? Like on a date?” Jeremiah’s angry tone was clear. “Already trying to fucking replace me? Are you already fucking all of them?”
“Not at all. It’d be like going on a date with my brother. Where are you anyway?” I knew he wouldn’t tell me, but it would get him off my back for a bit.
“Just out.”
“Ah. So you are out, but I can’t go out?” I knew I was pushing his patience, but I wanted to remind him that he wasn’t right there in front of me like normal. My nerves were showing through as I paced in front of the door though. Fidgeting, I pulled my hair behind my shoulder to fall down my back.
“No. I mean, yes. I get it. I’m just not used to you being so far away from me. I miss you.” Jeremiah’s tone turned back to the soft, loving voice that I had once fallen in love with. There was the ying and yang personality I knew so well.
“I know, just try to relax. I had to come home to take care of some things. You knew that. Plus, you’ll be getting out soon, right? Then we can figure out things together from there.” I knew that his contract was going to be ending in six months. I was hoping to be long gone by then or that’s where my mind was as once again he reminded me that I wasn’t allowed to do things without his consent. Just one of the many things I had to make a decision on in the coming months.
“Well, that’s one of the things I wanted to talk to you about. I think I’m going to re-up.”
“Really? Okay. Well, I guess that kind of changes things then, doesn’t it?” I shrugged. He was planning on signing another four year contract with the military. I wasn't surprised, he was a lifer. He had previously told me that he wanted to stay in for twenty, but before I had left, he’d been talking about getting out when this contract was up so that he could come back to the States and be with me. Guess he’d changed his mind on that, without even consulting me.
“It doesn’t have to. I still want to be with you. I want to take some time off and come visit you. We can discuss things in person and talk about all our options.” He was still going on and on but I had already started tuning him out. I had enough on my plate without my boyfriend adding even more demands on me, telling me what I wanted to do. It would be him telling me what he expected me to do if it was anything like our normal ‘talks’ in the past.
“Okay, J. Let me know when you think you’ll be able to get away and I’ll make sure I’m free. I’ve got to get going.”
“Okay, babe. I love you.”
“Yep, you too.” I hit the end button and returned to the house. I needed a beer even more after that phone call. “Let’s go boys. The bar is calling my name.”
Monk and Brew jumped up from their spots and then we all piled into a black SUV.
“Sweet ride. Whose is it?” I asked from the backseat as they pulled out of the drive.
“Wrench bought it as a house vehicle for such occasions.” Monk answered as he drove. I hadn’t known that Patrick had done that, but it made sense in case someone drank too much. Most of the guys only had bikes, or at least that’s what they always showed up to
the house with. It made me smile inside and out that Patrick had done something like that, something that was for the safety of his boys.
“Good idea.” I turned and looked out the window. I listened as the two men exchanged conversation about random topics as we sped down the road. I listened more than participated as I thought about the men in my life. Jeremiah. My boyfriend that I really didn’t even care for anymore. We had a lot of history though and that’s what kept me around. The person he had become in the last year wasn’t the person that had drawn me in. If I was honest, I was afraid of him. There weren’t many people that I was afraid of, but he was one of them. Coming home had given me a chance to get into a safe zone where I could try to make sense of everything going on in my head with him. I loved him and feared him, that wasn’t normal, was it? I had been in so few long term relationships I really didn’t know.
I won’t lie and say that I was sad that he decided to reenlist. Good for him. The relationship we had wasn’t the kind I would want to have with the person I spent the rest of my life with, not if I could help it. Then again, if we could go back to the way things were early on in our relationship, I would want to stay around. Although if I did decide to break up with him, I would do it in person, I owed him that much at least. Then there was Ellis. Another man I didn’t understand. He never looked at me as anything but a little sister and a friend. Until suddenly, he was giving me looks and telling me he wants me. There had to be a motive for the complete and utter change in his behavior. Lastly, there was Patrick. Same bullheaded pain in my ass as he ever was. Over protective, highly sexual brother. I’d give my life for him and him for me. That didn’t mean I followed all of his rules since he seemed unable to realize that I was no longer 16.
We pulled into the parking lot that was crowded with a mix of bikes and cars which was a good sign that it wasn’t strictly a biker bar. That worked in my favor since I was in the mood to dance and biker bars rarely played music good enough to really get down to. I followed behind Monk and Brew as they continued blabbering on about something or another. I swear they were worse than women sometimes.
